Vanessa Lamers is an environmental health specialist, educator, and communications consultant. She has expertise in health equity, food security, and health communications.
She has published on topics regarding hospital sustainability and greenhouse gas emissions, public health and hydraulic fracturing, water resources, and general science communications. She holds a Bachelor of Arts from the University of Oregon School of Education as well as a Master of Public Health and a Master of Environmental Science, both from Yale University. Vanessa grew up in the Willamette Valley of Oregon, where she developed her love of health and the environment.
